What is Technology Enginering

Engineering technology is a profession in which knowledge of mathematics, experience, and practice is devoted primarily to the implementation and expension of axisting technology to benefit humanity

Engineering technology education focuses primarily on aspects of applied science and engineering aimed at preparing graduates to pratice that part of the tecnological spectrum closest to product improvement, manufacturing, construction, engineering, and operational functions.

Thus technology is the application of engineering principles of engineering and modern tecnology to help solve or prevent tecnical problems.

Engineering technology is a relatyvely new discripline. Prior to engineering technology problems such as these appear north eastern, people with scientific or technical ambition to have a difficul decision to make, the type of education they should pursue? Collage- bound student have three option.

First option, meaning the primary election between the pure sciences, like physics, chemistry, or biology. However, the course is only suitable for people who are interresed in pursuing an additional degree, laboratory research, or careers in education.

The second option involves the selection of the engineering science majors such as civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering. But, engineering requires highly developed analytical skills and prepares people for careers concepcualizing and designing a technical device or system.

The thirdoption is decided not to attend college, but toenroll in technical or vocational school. This route is best suited for people who are interested in trading, that is for people who want a physical career building, operating machinery, or repair.

Engineering tecnology curriculum provides four options. The problem is designed to meet the growing need created by tecnological revolution for the highly educated problem solvers who can support the engineering process.
